Upon arrival in Gilgit, we continue our journey by road towards Karimabad, Hunza. The drive takes us through beautiful mountain landscapes, rivers, and traditional villages along the famous Karakoram Highway.
In the evening, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Hunza Valley surrounded by magnificent peaks.

Today is reserved for rest, acclimatization, and completing official trekking formalities.
You will have time to explore the beautiful town of Karimabad, visit local markets, and enjoy the views of Rakaposhi and Ultar peaks. Our team will complete permits, check equipment, and make final arrangements before entering the remote Shimshal Valley.

Leaving Shimshal village, we follow the mountain trail along the Shimshal River. The route gradually leaves the village behind and enters the peaceful wilderness.
The first trekking day is relatively easy and allows us to slowly adjust to the high-altitude environment. Beautiful mountains, fresh air, and traditional grazing areas accompany us along the way.

Today we continue deeper into the Shimshal Valley.
The trail follows the river and passes through rocky landscapes surrounded by impressive mountains. As we gain altitude, the scenery becomes more dramatic with glaciers and snow-covered peaks appearing around us.
We reach Wooch Furzeen campsite and enjoy our first night in the true Karakoram wilderness.

After breakfast, we continue our trek towards Arbob Purian.
The trail becomes more rugged as we enter a remote mountain environment. Along the way, you will experience untouched landscapes and breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.
The campsite provides a beautiful setting for relaxation after the day's walk.

The landscape changes into a more alpine environment with rocky valleys, glaciers, and towering mountains. This day is important for acclimatization before crossing Shimshal Pass.

Today is another exciting day as we cross Shpodin Pass.
The climb requires effort, but the views from the pass are unforgettable. After crossing, we descend towards the western base camp area.

We continue our journey through high mountain terrain.
Crossing Boisum Pass is another memorable experience with spectacular views of glaciers, valleys, and surrounding peaks.

The trek continues through remote alpine landscapes.

Today we gradually descend towards Warben.

You can rest at camp or take a short walk towards Targeen for exploration and photography.

The biggest adventure day of the trek!
We make an early start for crossing Chafchingol Pass, the highest point of the journey. The climb is demanding but reaching the top brings incredible views of the Karakoram range.

A flexible day reserved for rest or possible weather delays.
