In 2022, I completed a seven-week trek across northern Pakistan with Amin Shah of Trips Nomad Adventure. From the remote Hindu Kush to the legendary Snow Lake (Hispar-Biafo) and finally the Baltoro Glacier to Concordia beneath K2, the journey was nothing short of epic. We even visited base camps of four 8000-meter peaks—K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum I & II—with unforgettable mountain views throughout.

Thanks to Amin’s meticulous planning and high standards, everything ran smoothly despite the challenging terrain. Amin and Murad Khan were exceptional guides, supported by an incredible team including Bilal, who catered perfectly to my vegetarian diet. Even in tough conditions—rain, landslides, and glacier crossings—the crew remained strong, skilled, and positive.

As a solo female traveler on my first trip to Pakistan, I initially felt nervous, but I was completely safe and supported throughout. The experience was so powerful that saying goodbye was emotional. The landscapes and the warmth of the people, especially the team, have stayed with me ever since.

I’m already planning to return in 2026 with Amin for another ambitious Karakoram traverse. I truly can’t wait to be back in those mountains
