Welcome to Pakistan! Upon arrival in Islamabad, our team will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. Depending on arrival time, guests can relax or explore the peaceful capital city. In the evening, we’ll have a trip briefing and meet fellow travelers before the adventure begins.
We begin our epic road journey on the Karakoram Highway, one of the world’s most spectacular mountain roads. Passing through lush valleys, rivers, and dramatic mountain landscapes, we travel towards Chilas for an overnight stay. Along the way, enjoy views of the mighty Indus River and changing landscapes of northern Pakistan.
Leaving the Karakoram Highway behind, we enter the beautiful Astore Valley — a hidden paradise surrounded by towering peaks. From here, we continue towards the magical Rama Meadows, famous for its peaceful forests, alpine scenery, and breathtaking mountain views. The calm atmosphere of Rama feels like stepping into another world.
Today is one of the highlights of the journey! We drive to Tarashing village, gateway to the legendary south face of Nanga Parbat — the Killer Mountain. A scenic hike takes us through dramatic landscapes towards Biazhin and the Nanga Parbat Base Camp region. Standing beneath the world’s 9th highest mountain is a truly unforgettable experience filled with raw Himalayan beauty.
We journey towards the famous Deosai National Park, known as the “Land of Giants.” Crossing high-altitude plains surrounded by snow-covered peaks, we reach one of the highest plateaus in the world. Tonight, we camp under a sky filled with stars while enjoying the untouched wilderness of Deosai.
A full day to experience the magical beauty of Deosai. We explore rolling green plains, crystal-clear streams, wildflowers, and the stunning Sheosar Lake. Keep an eye out for Himalayan wildlife including marmots, foxes, and the rare Himalayan brown bear. The silence and vastness of Deosai create a feeling unlike anywhere else in Pakistan.
Descending from Deosai, we reach Skardu — the gateway to the Karakoram mountains. Later, we visit the historic Shigar Fort, a beautifully restored heritage palace blending Balti culture with timeless architecture. Surrounded by orchards and mountains, Shigar offers a perfect mix of history, culture, and nature.
Today we drive through scenic valleys to visit the spectacular Manthoka Waterfall. Cascading from rocky cliffs into a peaceful stream below, it’s one of Baltistan’s hidden gems. After spending time in nature and enjoying local hospitality, we return to Shigar for a relaxing evening.
Today is dedicated to discovering the beauty and culture of Skardu. We visit the ancient Buddha Rock, peaceful Sadpara Lake, and the famous Shangrila Resort surrounded by crystal waters and dramatic mountains. In the evening, enjoy a memorable group dinner at Shangrila — the perfect setting to celebrate the adventure together.
Depending on weather and flight availability, we either take a scenic flight to Islamabad or begin our return journey by road towards Naran. The mountain landscapes continue to amaze as we travel through valleys, rivers, and charming villages.
Enjoy a relaxed day in Islamabad with optional sightseeing or shopping. Later, we visit the famous Raja Bazaar in Rawalpindi — a lively traditional market full of local culture, handicrafts, dry fruits, clothing, and street food. A perfect chance to experience everyday life in Pakistan.

When visiting historical and archaeological sites in Pakistan, it is important to take certain precautions to ensure your safety and preserve the sites for future generations. Here are some precautions to keep in mind:
Before visiting any site, research its historical significance, cultural practices, and any specific guidelines or restrictions in place. This will help you prepare and respect the site appropriately.
Dress modestly: Pakistan is a conservative country, so it is advisable to dress modestly, especially when visiting religious sites or conservative areas. Covering your shoulders, wearing long pants or skirts, and avoiding revealing or provocative clothing is respectful.
Respect local customs and traditions:
Pakistan has a rich cultural heritage, and it is important to respect the customs and traditions of the local communities. Follow any religious or cultural practices observed at the site, such as removing your shoes before entering certain areas or covering your head if required.
Follow instructions and guidelines:
Pay attention to any instructions or guidelines provided by the site authorities or tour guides. These may include areas where photography is prohibited, restricted access zones, or any specific rules to protect the artifacts or structures.
Stay on designated paths:
Stick to designated paths and avoid trespassing or damaging any part of the site. Some archaeological sites are fragile; stepping on delicate areas can cause irreparable harm. Follow the signs and markers to ensure you are on the authorized path.
Do not remove artifacts:
Removing artifacts, stones, or any historical items from the site is strictly prohibited. Removing artifacts not only damages their historical value but is also illegal. Respect the site’s archaeological significance by leaving everything as you found it.
Dispose of waste properly:
Maintain cleanliness and dispose of any trash in designated bins. Keep the sites clean and leave no trace of your visit. Avoid littering or damaging the environment around the sites.
Be cautious of your belongings:
Keep an eye on your personal belongings at all times. Use a secure bag or backpack to carry your valuables and avoid displaying expensive items that may attract unwanted attention.
Stay hydrated and protect yourself from the sun:
Pakistan can have hot and dry weather, especially during the summer months. Drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and consider wearing a hat or carrying an umbrella to protect yourself from the sun.
Follow safety guidelines:
Be aware of your surroundings and follow any safety guidelines provided by the authorities. It is always recommended to travel in groups, especially in remote areas, and inform someone about your plans and expected return time.
By following these precautions, you can ensure a safe and respectful visit to the historical and archaeological sites in Pakistan while appreciating their cultural and historical significance
