This begins with the view of the Killer Mountain Nanga Parbat 8,125M the second Highest Peak in Pakistan an 9 in the world. Furthermore, the Junction of three mountain ranges along with meeting of Indus and Gilgit River. Gilgit the Capital Northern Pakistan, Kargah Buddha, Hanzal Stuppa, Ghizer River and charming villages are the main higlights of this day.
We'll spend the morning preparing for our hike to Dain Waterfall, where we'll immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. Along the way, we'll have the opportunity to interact with the local communities, visiting their villages and homes to gain insights into their unique culture and way of life. Ishkoman is a place brimming with stories and experiences, promising a truly unforgettable day.

We'll embark on a scenic one-hour drive from Chatorkhand to Assumbar Village, where our porters will be ready to accompany us. From here, our trek begins, ascending towards the charming Assumbar Village, the namesake of the pass. As we journey, we'll be captivated by the breathtaking views of lush green meadows and snow-capped peaks soaring to heights of 5,000 to 6,000 meters. We'll set up camp for the night at Charuji, nestled at an altitude of 3,400 meters.
We'll start our day with a delicious breakfast, surrounded by breathtaking views that will leave you captivated. Our walk will take us through charming summer villages, where we'll encounter friendly Gujar nomads and their herds of animals. The trail is lined with stunning vistas of lush green meadows and crystal-clear streams. Eventually, we'll reach the vast, green plain of Janali, known locally as the "polo ground." We'll set up camp at an altitude of 4,800 meters, with a clear view of the impressive Assumbar Pass ahead.
Our journey starts with a serene walk, gradually ascending towards the pass. After a 1.5 to 2-hour hike, we’ll reach the summit, rewarded with panoramic views of both Yasin and Ishkoman valleys. The surrounding scenery is simply breathtaking.
We’ll then descend into the charming summer village of Mayur, nestled within the Yasin Valley. Crystal-clear streams wind their way through the landscape, and stunning vistas surround you at every turn.
In the heart of Assumbar Yasin, at an elevation of approximately 3,600 meters, we'll have a peaceful campsite. A few cozy cottages offer respite, and the surrounding natural beauty is truly awe-inspiring.
Today, we'll embark on a leisurely descent to the charming Sandhi Village in Yasin Valley. As we wind our way through picturesque summer houses, we'll be treated to breathtaking views of lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and quaint villages with fields of wheat and barley.
Upon reaching Sandhi Village, we'll explore the historic Muduri Fort. Afterward, we'll hop in our car and head to a cozy hotel for a delightful tea break and overnight stay.
We will drive an hour to Thui Valley with amazing views and highlights after the lunch and Camp 2,700 meters.
Begin trekking along the Thui River with stunning views of Thui-I Peak (6,666m). Reach Lasht, a summer village with clear spring water. Enjoy an evening of songs by porters and camping food. Overnight stay in tents.
Hike past summer homes, hanging glaciers, and waterfalls. Accept tea offers from locals to experience their hospitality. Camp near the snout of the Gashochi Glacier. Overnight in tents.
Trek along the Gashochi Glacier’s moraine, eventually reaching a grassy campsite surrounded by wildflowers. Enjoy stunning views of snow-covered peaks and verdant meadows. Overnight in tents.
Cross the Thui Pass and enjoy panoramic views of white peaks and the Gazin Glacier. Descend to Golpigal campsite with spring water and breathtaking scenery. Overnight in tents.
A smooth descent to Gazin marks the end of the trek. You can choose to continue exploring the Yarkhun Valley, visit Mastuj or Chitral, or return via Shandur Pass or Lawari Tunnel. Overnight stay as per your plans.
Here we have two options to Chitral or Gilgit Via Shandur Pass is about 8 hour drive and to Chitral 4 hour drive:
