Trip Itinerary with Detail information
Pick from Islamabad International. TNA representative will meet group and transfer to hotel. After relaxing in the afternoon will visit to the nearby attractions. In the evening briefing of the whole trip.
The journey begins in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, heading to Chilas via the Babusar Pass (4,100 meters). The route traverses the scenic Kaghan and Naran Valleys, offering breathtaking views. Overnight stay Chilas on the Karakiorum Highway.
A short walk brings you to the serene Gahkuch Waterfall, just 15 minutes from the local bazaar, for a refreshing stop. Later, hike to Upper Gahkuch, which offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. An amazing day overnight stay in a cozy hotel.
Head to the Dar Mandir, an unseen village located 2 hour to the west of Gahkuch. The drive is an adventurous jeep road leading to a lush green settlement inhabited by the welcoming Gujar people, known for their unmatched hospitality. Here, porters are arranged, and the first night is spent camping in tents. Camp at 2,600 meters.
The trek begins with spectacular views as the trail passes through several quaint villages. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the path is easy to navigate, and the locals are warm and friendly. By the end of the day, you’ll reach a serene campsite at 3,700 meters, nestled in a green meadow with awe-inspiring views.
Begin the ascent to Dar Mandir Pass (4,500 meters). Along the way, encounter a picturesque lake under clear blue skies. The climb to the pass is smooth, and the views from the top are truly breathtaking. This pass was explored with Polish trekkers in June 2023. Descend into the Yasin Valley, camping at Makuli (3,500 meters), a lush green meadow with a crystal-clear stream and summer huts. During the summer, locals from Yasin bring their goats and sheep here for grazing. Few families stay from June to September. You will be warmly greeted by the locals with awesome hospitality.
Descend further into the Yasin Valley, then drive to Darkot to visit the historic Muduri Fort, a poignant site that tells the tragic story of the Dogra invasion in 1862, during which thousands were killed. The fort's ruins are a must-see.
Continue exploring Darkot, a historic village and the starting point for the Darkot Pass, which connects Broghil in the north of Chitral to the Wakhan Corridor. Nearby passes include Attar and Panji Passes to the Ishkoman Valley in the east and Ghamubar Pass to the Thui Valley in the west. Visit Dhoholing, a beautiful hidden spot, and then proceed to Daspar in the Thui Valley, crossing the newly explored Polish Pass (4,600 meters).
An easy 4-5 hour walk from Darkot Village leads to a scenic campsite at 3,900 meters, surrounded by mountains. This serene location features crystal-clear streams and peaks ranging from 5,000 to 6,000 meters. Dhoholing, a beautiful hidden spot, and then leads to Daspar in the Thui Valley, crossing the newly explored Polish Pass (4,600 meters). we will camp here at 3,900 meters.
Cross the Polish Pass with a gradual 600-meter climb and descend to another campsite under the shadow of Thui-1 (6,666 meters) at Gohicho Kuttu. This is one of the last summer pastures, with a few cottages nearby. Surrounded by the Ghamubar Glacier and stunning peaks, this spot is perfect for an extra day to enjoy the pristine nature, including three waterfalls and mesmerizing mountain views.

Finally, a 4 hour drive will take us to Gilgit along the charming villages of Yasin, Gupis, Punial on the Shandur Road along the Ghizer River all the way.
Finally, Fly to Islamabad or drive back Nara and then to Islamabad, marking the end of this unforgettable journey through the unexplored treasures of the Hindu Kush Mountains.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
PASSPORT AND VISA
Participants of all nationalities are required to have a valid passport with six months remaining validity and a visa for Pakistan. Visas must be applied online at https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/

TREKKING PERMIT
Some Treks in Pakistan fall in the restricted areas, a trekking permit is required and the security clearance process usually takes 30-45 days. It is high recommended to apply at least 60 days in advance to delays. Your application for visa is linked with the application for the trekking permit.
PERSONAL INSURANCE
As the trip is of strenuous nature, it is a mandatory requirement to have an insurance policy for accidents, medical and helicopter evacuation covering at least $ 30,000. In the cities like Islamabad, there is no problem if you are in western dress but in remote regions including Skardu, you will need to have a full dress (covering your body)

GROUP JOINING INSTRUCTIONS
The tour starts and ends in Islamabad. TNA, guide or representative will be at the airport to pick the clients with the welcome signboard of TNA. We can also make reservations for pre and post nights if anyone arriving early or departing late.
BOOKING & DEPOSITS
The trip can be reserved upon as an initial deposit of 50% one month before arrival. The initial deposit shall not be refunded but can be transferred for a future trip.
FINAL PAYMENT
We accept full trip cost before the commencement of the tour. The payments are only accepted in cash/bank transfers in bank account. We don’t accept payments through credit cards. Please do not accept any invoice which is not generated by Trips Nomad Adventure and sent through official email ID.
1) Cancellations must be notified in writing to Trips Nomad Adventure or the agent through which the trip is booked. Cancellation charges shall be levied as follows:
- Cancellation before 30 days or more-After a deduction of the 10%, the remaining amount will be refunded. If the deposit is retained with the consent of our client no cancellation charges will be applied. The full amount will be adjusted with a future trip.
- Cancellation within 2 weeks before departure –50 % of the package offer
- Cancellation within one week of departure or no show –Loss of full payment
2) There shall be no refunds if you leave the trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily, after the trip has begun. No refunds shall be made for any meals, accommodation or services not utilized
